We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our unique, family-centred Homeschooling Hub, supporting children in Years 5 to 8. This role is ideal for someone who believes in inclusive, faith-informed education and is committed to helping every child thrive—particularly neurodiverse learners or those who find mainstream settings challenging.
You will be responsible for delivering a flexible, engaging curriculum grounded in the national curriculum, including daily English and Maths and weekly Science, History, Geography, and other foundation subjects. All planning for the first term is already in place, and previous year’s resources are available to support your teaching. You will work closely with a small team of qualified educators and therapeutic mentors to create a nurturing, structured environment that fosters academic growth and emotional wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach core and foundation subjects to small, mixed-age classes (max. 12 pupils)

Create a warm, inclusive environment informed by Christian values such as kindness, perseverance, and respect

Adapt lessons to meet the needs of neurodiverse students

Maintain consistent communication with families, including weekly newsletters and progress reports

Support cultural learning through termly trips, industry talks, and creative activities

Collaborate with the team to continuously improve learning experiences and student outcomes
Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (or equivalent experience)

Experience working with children with SEND or neurodiverse needs

Commitment to Christian ethos and inclusive education

Strong communication and organisational skills
