To help us unleash the unique potential of Football for Good, we are looking for a

Freelancer illustrator and motion designer (f/m/d)

from 15 November 2021 to 28 February 2022

The Project

streetfootballworld/Common Goal and the UEFA Foundation for Children want to establish a safeguarding online course and certification programme for the global sports for good ecosystem. We want to depict through animated illustrations scenarios of abuse and the best practices on safeguarding in order to support NGOs who want to use sports for good and help them be aware of the risks and of the solutions.

Description of job and responsibilities

To create a series of animated illustrations for the online course – all the material will then be built-in an online platform with responsive interactivity.

  • Five case scenarios of 30-60 seconds animations describing a type of abuse
  • Five questions popping-up after viewing the animation
  • Five definition pages (script and background)
  • Three to four “best practices” scenes that depict what can be done to prevent abuse
  • Five quizzes containing each five questions with 4 alternative answers to tick (script and background)
  • One checklist (script and background)
  • Five posters for print dedicated to children to learn about their rights
  • This project may be subject to minor changes.

Requirements

  • Available for full-time work between 15 November 2021 – 28 February 2022
  • Experience developing illustration systems
  • Inclusiveness and socio-political sensitivity of illustrations
  • May work remotely or from our office in Berlin
  • Please indicate your job preference (illustrator and/or motion designer), if you work in a team or partner with other illustrators/motion designers
