Hanover is looking for an ambitious and motivated Intern to join our team in Brussels. We are looking for an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial applicant, with the ability and willingness to learn quickly and work independently. The successful candidate will be supporting the team on policy and communications with a particular focus on EU digital policies.
Main responsibilities:
- Monitoring legislative developments;
- Targeted research and policy analysis;
- Support with communications, social media campaigns and event organisation.
Requirements
Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of the EU institutions and the EU decision-making process. Previous internship experience in the EU institutions/Trade Association is an asset;
- Knowledge and experience on EU Digital policies/Competition is an asset;
- Self-motivated team player;
- Good computer skills (e.g. Microsoft office and/or Adobe InDesign);
- Excellent oral and written English is essential. Knowledge in other European languages, especially French or Dutch, is desirable;
- Relevant degree, preferably in law, EU studies or political science.
