Overview

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) International, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, is searching for an Administrative Coordinator to serve at the International Headquarters in Boone, NC. This position directly works with and supports all staff and volunteers in the Americas super region. Come join an amazing team and help be a part of advancing God’s Kingdom to the nations!

A day in the life of a Regional Administrative Coordinator:

At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. 

In the role of Administrative Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Responsible for all communications in assigned region, utilizing expert knowledge of cultural nuances within those regions and cultivating transformational relationships with teams
  • Manage entry, updating, and communication for all regional data within every operation system to ensure Global Goals are being met, properly tracked, and reported
  • Manage all travel processes for regional staff and volunteers, including cross-departmental communication with Travel, Finance and Security departments
  • Liaise with OCC Domestic, International Logistics, Global Programs team, and other departments as a representative of the region
  • Support international and domestic events, including preparing correspondence, itineraries, materials and assisting in the visa application process
  • Attend events as needed to support
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new staff within the region
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Highly detail orientated with a demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and relational skills, especially cross-culturally
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • General accounting and finance knowledge
  • Maintains a flexible attitude and proactively looks for ways to serve others
  • Prior experience working/living internationally (preferred)
  • Spanish fluency is a bonus

Education/Experience

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is required. One (1) to three (3) years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Location: Boone, NC (NO remote option)

Type:  Full-time

Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required)

Travel Expectations: Global travel up to 15 days may be required
