Teaching responsibilities are likely to include one 3 credit course in History 20, American Civilization to 1877 and/or World History .
Requirements and Qualifications
The opening requires a minimum of a Master’s degree in history or a related area. A Ph D. degree is preferred.
Candidates should have a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal-arts education and a desire to collaboratively contribute to a growing program.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
