Brief Summary Description of Project:

Mercy Corps is implementing the Youth-Oriented Innovative Employment and Livelihoods towards Durable Solutions for IDPs, Host Communities and Syrian Refugees in Iraq (YIELDS) aimed at providing livelihood support and economic development to refugees, returnee, IDP and host community members in Sulaymaniyah and Erbil governorates.

One of the components of the project is the institutional capacity building of partner CBOs in order for them to manage and implement similar livelihood projects at a larger scale in the future. MC is looking for a consultant to scale-up the previous organizational development provided to Kurdistan Economic Development Organization (KEDO) and Youth Activity Organization (YAO), by identifying institutional gaps/weaknesses that still need to be addressed.  Furthermore, the capacity building for this project should focus on developing/improving business models of KEDO and YAO in order for them to be self-sustaining and be able to increase their core funding.
