The incumbent serves as the Human Resources Assistant by providing assistance to the Human Resources Office in the administration of personnel functions, such as file management, recruitment and selection processes, distribution of Personal Services Contracts, elaboration of Personnel Actions and individual or mission-wide notifications, and administration of personnel data applications and systems. The incumbent will also be required to provide support and guidance to the Administrative Assistant (Rover), to handle special projects, and to provide support during increased workloads.
In the performance of these duties, the Human Resources Assistant must be able to acquire a good knowledge and understanding of USAID/Honduras’ programs/projects/activities, office operations, policies, regulations, and procedures associated with the specific tasks assigned. Good interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and in writing, are also needed. This position is located in the Executive Office and directly reports to the Human Resources Specialist.
