JOB DESCRIPTION

The Project Manager’s role is to coordinate a 4-years EU funded project. However, other tasks can be framed depending on the candidate profile recruited and his/her/their expectations. The main objectives of the Project Manager can be summarized as follows:

  1. Engage stakeholders and potential end-users in the scientific planning, dissemination and project delivery.
  2. Maximise the impact and uptake of the project outputs by integrating the priorities of the industry for exploitation.
  3. Ensure transfer of knowledge and the dissemination of results.
  4. Promote EU project goals and results to the general public and to the policy makers to ensure regulatory acceptance.

SPECIFIC TASKS FOR THE EU PROJECT

  • Organization and coordination of the Consortium meetings
  • Develop the stakeholders driven priorities report
  • Execution of the consortium trainings and webinars execution
  • Writing and updating the communication portfolio
  • Preparing briefing for policy makers (elected and non-elected) as well as general public

BACKGROUND AND SKILLS

Creativity, resilience, rigor and respect of deadlines are important required skills.

Diploma level should be at least Master Degree and min. 2-10 years of experience in toxicology or public affairs or equivalent. Some knowledge about exploitation for EU project is a plus as well as any knowledge of other EU official languages.

Ability to fluently speak, read and write in English.

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

JOB WORKING CONDITIONS

  • The position is based in Brussels, Belgium as home office.
  • It is an 80% to 100% position for the duration of the EU project.
  • The annual salary amount is open to discussion.
  • Starting date is foreseen Q2 Q3 2021
