DART Logistics & Supply Chain Management Personnel provide the necessary support to ensure effective responses. They serve along each stage of the supply line and deploy to crisis situations in some of the toughest locations around the world to serve those in desperate need in the name of Jesus. DART Logistics & Supply Chain Management personnel are logistically minded operations experts who are willing and able to step aside from their normal career for a minimum of 3 weeks at a time to answer the call to respond.

Do you have what it takes to be DART Logistics & Supply Chain Management Personnel?

The Samaritan’s Purse DART program is committed to meeting the critical needs of victims of war, poverty, famine, disease, and natural disaster. We focus on meeting needs in the areas of clean water, food, shelter, and medical care. We stand ready to respond at a moment’s notice whenever and wherever disaster strikes. The DART specializes in meeting physical needs while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

As deployments occur with little or no warning, DART members must have a flexible schedule and availability to deploy. DART members can be deployed to dangerous places, the living conditions can be challenging and the work days long and hard. However, Samaritan’s Purse believes in being the first on the ground in order to serve and help those who have suffered through a catastrophic event in the name of Jesus Christ.

How serving on the DART roster works

DART members are contracted employees. Their contracts are activated when they are deployed to a response and are deactivated when they return home. Practically, this means that they have careers and life circumstances separate from DART, but when Samaritan’s Purse initiates a response, we call available DART members to respond and deploy. While a DART member is deployed, Samaritan’s Purse provides compensation and covers their response-related living and travel costs.
