Summary
WRI intends to award a four-month, full-time contract to a Recruiter. As a contract Recruiter, you will independently manage approximately 10-15 recruitment searches concurrently for WRI’s US office. This contract allows you to work remotely from any US location and with flexible hours using your own computer equipment. You will be provided a WRI email address and limited access to our systems to perform the deliverables outlined below.
The selected contractor will be trained on our HR talent acquisition processes and policies.
Candidates who can be available 30-40 hours/week are strongly preferred.
Start and end dates are flexible, but ideally you can begin the contract on July 6 and end on November 5, 2022.
Scope of Work and Deliverables/Outputs
- Independently manage 10 – 15 entry- to mid-level US-based openings concurrently with an expectation to fill positions with top talent within two months
- Lead kick-off meetings with hiring managers to learn more about their hiring needs and explain the recruitment process
- Provide kind, timely and consistent communication to applicants, hiring managers, and talent acquisition team
- Source candidates for open positions and post positions to different job boards as needed
- Review all applications for positions and contact top candidates to conduct 15-minute phone screens
- Recommend candidates to hiring managers and schedule next steps
- Conduct reference checks
- Utilize Jobvite (applicant tracking system) & Office 365 systems to conduct all tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of independently managing recruitment processes and searches
- Strong attention to detail and ability to use sound judgment in reviewing and recommending applicants
- Familiarity with utilizing professional position sourcing techniques
- Ability to work with individuals across all levels and functions
- Strong level of professionalism with ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient in Office 365 products
- Expert user in Jobvite or other applicant tracking systems
- Experience working in a large nonprofit, research center, and/or think tank preferred
