As an intern you will contribute to the development of financial advisory strategy tools and will assist the senior investment advisor in implementation of LadyAgri’s philanthropic and impact investment projects. You will work as an active member of the team and directly report to the Secretary General.

Tasks and Responsibilities: • Analyse and assess business and financial plans. • Evaluate or generate financial modelling tools such as cash flow projections, calculating NPV and IRR, etc. • Monitor and evaluate financial health of women-led agri-businesses by tracking different financial ratios. • Participate in all meetings of the Investment Committee. • Contribute to the preparation and selection of agribusiness projects demonstrating business viability and high impact potential through a “gender prism” • Document and keep the deal pipeline tracking tool up to date and available to colleagues • Draft one-page presentation of new opportunities and update existing agribusiness profiles with most relevant data

Skills & Competence: • Bachelor or Master’s degree in economics and management • Generate financial models, cash flow projections, NPV, IRR from an impact investment perspective • Experience reading and assessing business plan and financial plans; • Ability to work in a structured and precise manner and respect deadlines • Sharing LadyAgri’s vision to provide tailored financial advice to women entrepreneurs in emerging economies • MS Office proficiency (particularly Word and Excel) • Good English and French • Sociable team player

Terms & Conditions: • Estimated start day: August 1st 2021 • 3 days a week from 3 to 6 months • Unpaid internship (Travel and food allowance) • Possibility to grow in terms of responsibilities • Feel-good work atmosphere
