COFACE Families Europe is looking for a Communication & Policy Assistant
COFACE Families Europe is a pluralistic network of family organisations representing the interest of all families in Europe. We are a membership-based non-governmental organisation which works in partnership with the European Commission through an operating grant of the EaSI programme.
Position Summary
The Communication and Policy Assistant will be a recent graduate joining us for a 4-month internship from September to December 2021 in Brussels, to learn about the European NGO world and the EU institutions, providing different types of support (e.g. carrying out desk research, reporting on meetings, events organisation) and to support COFACE work in different areas of communication and policy.
Under supervision of the Director, and working closely with the full COFACE team, the Communication & Policy Assistant will provide support in the following areas:
- Office management, with a focus on workplace adaptations for well-being and sustainability
- Networking and events, with a focus on webinars and social media
- Communication and campaigning, with a focus on accessibility for persons with disabilities
- Projects and funding, with a focus on boosting NGO family support initiatives
- Policy and advocacy, with a focus on monitoring digital policy trends
Offer
- Based in Brussels, Belgium
- Contract: Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle (around 800 euros/month)
