Save the Children International has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the permanent Lead FMS Application Architect
Agresso (Unit4 Business World) is at the heart of our FMS applications, the largest and most complex application set SCI operate, which are mission critical to our operation. The Lead FMS Application Architect owns and drives the FMS Applications strategy, roadmap, standards and design patterns.
The role is responsible for the architecture, design, development and enhancement of all SCI Agresso and other financial technology implementations across organisation. In addition the architect is responsible for Member implementations where the SC member utilises the FMS shared service run by SCI in its global service centres.
The role collaborates with users across the global organisation, the development team and the vendor to architect, design, plan and deliver solutions and is a leading role in the on boarding of new Members onto the FMS shared service.
The role requires experience in developing and adapting existing business solutions as well as creating new solutions.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Essential
- Proven experience of architecting globally distributed Agresso and other FMS implementations
- Proven experience in working on FMS Application strategies, roadmaps, standards and design patterns.
- Advanced Agresso skills in > 75% of modules
- Advanced T-SQL skills
- Advanced Agresso performance analysis skills
- Advanced Excelerator skills
- Proven line management experience (with a globally distributed team desirable)
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectation at multiple levels of seniority
- Experience of communicating technical issues to a multi-cultural, multi-functional audience.
- Ability to evaluate, recommend and implement timely, essential improvements to existing application services
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills with ability to clearly communicate technical issues to a wide audience.
- Proven ability to recruit, coach and retain technical staff
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Desirable
- Experience of working within an agile project delivery environment
- Cultural awareness and experience of delivering solutions internationally with offshore project team members
- Additional languages (particularly French or Spanish)
