Job Purpose and Organizational Context
This role has a direct impact on the implementation, adoption and ongoing support for core administration business activities within planning and project management, finance, human resource and supply chain impacted by the existing ERP Implementation initiative.
Focusing on the people aspect of transformation, the position works to ensure high level buy-in, training, commitment and adoption of this transformation initiative across partner agencies. The position is responsible for the development of a comprehensive change management framework and methodology for implementing and sustaining change that will be applied across transformation initiatives and will guide detailed change management activities supporting the transformation initiative.
The role will oversee change management deliverables across multiple project streams assessing needs, providing direction, coordination and directing personnel to support the transformation. The position provides strategic directions, coordination and advice to leadership to support change management efforts across project streams ensuring alignment with UN Reform to a common way of working. As a pillar lead within the project team, the position will establish and maintain effective relations with other pillar leads, business process owners and agency change networks (consisting of agency identified change sponsors and change champions) to foster successful implementation of the transformation initiative. Sensitivity to stakeholders impacted by the initiative and the ability to successfully collaborate with multiple stakeholders across agencies is essential in the success of this role.
The position coordinates efforts and supervises staff as part of a matrix leadership model in with other Pillar Leads and the PMO team for Project Management, Communications, and Process Review and Alignment to Cloud ERP.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop the strategy, framework, processes and principles for Organizational Change Management (OCM) for the ERP transformation initiative project, artifacts would include:
Sponsorship roadmap
Coaching Plan
Training Plan
Resistance Management Plan
Readiness Assessments
Stakeholder Analysis
Lead and direct a team of professionals, as part of a matrix leadership model, to support the transformation initiative:
Assess needs and direct personnel to support transformation initiatives;
Provide strategic direction, coordination, advice and takes decision that support transformation initiatives with necessary change management actions and advice;
In collaboration with multiple stakeholders across agencies provides strategic leadership in generating principles frameworks ideas options alternative solutions and recommendations for change management activities;
Provide oversight to ensure rigor in change activity design including coordinating activities across identified initiatives.
Relationship and change management:
Build effective relationships consulting and working collaboratively with business partners to deliver change management initiatives and activities that will assist agencies in realizing the transformation vision and improving integration;
Influence organizational culture and behaviors towards a holistic and integrated view to enable enhanced collaboration and organizational performance;
Work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders working toward understanding a range of perspectives and the potential impacts of system and process change;
Provide leadership and influence by facilitating efforts to develop improve and implement cross agency transformation initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience
Education:
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, Education, Sociology, Human Resources, Communication or related discipline with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in the same disciplines with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
Experience:
A MUST: A minimum of one full lifecycle ERP Transformation or have an experience in ATLAS maintenance and support;
Two ERP deployments (Cloud based preferably);
Five years’ experience involved in Organizational Transformation initiatives in a change capacity, including experience leading organizational change either as part of a project or business improvement team;
Knowledge of business processes and change management in context of an ERP based transformation is a plus;
Experience with global international deployments is a plus.
Language Requirements:
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, knowledge of other official UN language(s) is desired.
