As an affiliate, Oxfam America (OUS) holds a critical responsibility for strategic and operational support and partnership with countries and regions where Oxfam works—and for US advocacy, fundraising, and domestic programming for the global Oxfam confederation.

About the role

The Vice President Global Partnerships & Impact (VP GPI) will play a critical role in advancing Oxfam’s commitment to our 2030 strategy to transform systems that drive inequality and transition into an organization whose collaboration and effectiveness with partners in the Global South will set new standards of excellence.

Reporting to the President & CEO and as an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team, the VP GPI will embrace challenges and change to support the evolution of a high-impact organization and confederation working in a rapidly changing world.

The role is responsible for the following areas

  • Impact Measurement, Knowledge Management, and Program Quality
  • Partnership and Representation
  • Innovation, Impact, and Influence

This important role calls for a pro­fessional who is committed to feminist leadership and passionate about cultivating and empowering strong senior leaders and teams, leveraging feminist social change and fighting inequali­ty—and is excited to represent Oxfam America (OUS)’s role in that effort. You will bring a deep understanding of international develop­ment, multilateralism, and the interconnections of poverty, policy, and power. You will have proven experience in multi-country and region program management, knowledge management, and learning. You will demonstrate expertise in building partnerships and synergy, while creat­ing and supporting bold, collaborative change management.

Location: Flexible during COVID-19 and work-from-home; willing to spend significant time in both Washington, DC and Boston offices; and travel as needed across the US and internationally.

Salary and benefits are commensurate with the seniority of the position and will be disclosed to applicants as part of the process.
