Overview

Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, is searching for a Partnerships and Promotions Associate to serve at our IHQ in Boone, NC. Come join an amazing team and help be a part of advancing God’s Kingdom to the nations!

*This is a six (6) month, full-time seasonal position ONLY

A day in the life of a Partnerships & Promotions Associate:

At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. 

In the role of Partnerships & Promotions Associate, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
• Support areas within the Promotions and Partnerships team to grow the number of shoebox producing national partnerships. Areas include: Corporate & Ministry Partnerships, Church Relations, Student Partnerships & Ministry, and Church & Multicultural Partnerships
• Assist in the development of partnership and promotional strategies for all partnerships within the Promotions and Partnerships portfolio 
• Work closely with all areas on the Promotions team to maximize the promotional impact of OCC at national events and conferences
• Support with the coordination and implementation of promotional events, including gathering and shipping materials, staffing coordination, and attending events as assigned 
• Support Promotions and Partnership Coordinator in data maintenance and management
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

• Detail oriented, able to multitask effectively
• Strong administrative skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
• Team player, who brings a positive, flexible attitude
• Initiative taker, proactively looking for ways to serve
• Spanish speaking proficiency is strongly preferred

Job Location: Boone, NC

Type:  Six-month seasonal position

Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required) Spanish (preferred)
