Instructor – Media & Journalism (Temporary, Full-Time, Fall 2021)


The Department of Media and Journalism at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is seeking a high-energy, dedicated individual to teach Video Production, Digital Video Editing, Broadcast Journalism, Advanced Video Editing, Cinema Appreciation, and/or Media and Journalism Seminar (AA# 24900-20-435). The position is for a temporary, full-time Instructor for the Fall 2021 semester. Salary competitive. Course sections may be offered in face-to-face, online, or hybrid formats.
Qualifying Experience / Education: Information and technological literacy and Master’s degree in appropriate field are required. Ph.D. or professional experience in appropriate field is preferred.
Supplemental Information: Finalists for this position must communicate well and successfully complete the interview process. Candidates must be able to demonstrate ability to work with diverse populations. Recommendation for hiring is needed from a majority of the regular, full-time department faculty. Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check.
