Job Summary

The Department of Economics at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor of Economics faculty position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching load will be 2-2. That likely includes upper division undergraduate classes and masters’ classes, such as Intermediate Macroeconomics, Econometrics, or Managerial Economics. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to diversity and equity in education through their scholarship, teaching, and/or service. Strong communication skills are important.

Required Qualifications

PhD, Economics, completed by Spring 2021.

If ABD, assurance from committee chair of timely completion.
