View Vacancy – Commercial Intern – British Embassy Asuncion

Main purpose of job:

·       Provide assistance to the commercial team

·       Conduct market research to idenfity local business opportunities for British companies

·       Raise the identified opportunities to the commercial team

·       Promote the British offer to local companies

·       Assist in responding to commercial enquiries from British companies looking to do business in Paraguay

Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve?:

·       Expand our pool of contacts with businesses, stakeholders and companies

·       Create a pipeline of companies of interest by sector

·       Periodically follow-up with commercial engagements

·       Prepare the preliminary work linked to commercial opportunities for the team to continue in the medium to long term

·       Log interactions on our internal system to leave registry

Currently studying International Trade, International Relations or Economy.

Must have excellent computer skills, particularly MS Outlook and MS Office packages.

Should be a proactive and creative self-starter with strong interpersonal skills who has the ability to learn quickly.

Must be willing to work in a constantly changing multicultural environment.

Language requirements:

 Language: English and Spanish

Level of language required: Excellent level of English
