Foreign Service Limited Position Opportunity:Health Development Officer (Private Sector) – FL-0685-02

The Officer would provide key leadership in FP/RH private sector healthsystems. The position would serve as a senior advisor and technical authority on FP/RH private sector,which is vital to the achievement of USAID’s goal of expanding access to high-quality FP/RH services toreduce unintended pregnancy and promote healthy reproductive behaviors in developing countries. The position would coordinate between GH/PRH and regional and pillar Bureau colleagues in strategicplanning, analysis, design, implementation, research, and evaluation of FP/RH programs including, butnot limited to, private commercial and not-for-profit engagement, FP/RH health systems integration,development and application of evidence-based practices in public and private sectors. This positionwould ensure that FP/RH private sector interventions are integrated into other public health areas aswell as non-health activities (i.e., financial literacy, microfinance, etc.). This position would alsocoordinate the application of the Agency Private Sector Engagement Policy to FP/RH work.
