Are you looking for an opportunity to use your tech design and administrative skills to help send the gospel to children and families around the world? Operation Christmas Child International (OCC), a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, is searching for an Instructional Design Associate to serve at our IHQ in Boone, NC. Note: This is a three (3) month, full-time, seasonal position only

A day in the life of an Instructional Design Associate:

At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. 

In the role of Instructional Design Associate, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
• Develop video overlay graphics and text for eLearning Modules
• Build interactive slides of various types (simulation, drag and drop, branching navigation, etc.)
• Work with graphics, customizing images pulled from a digital asset library
• Design page layouts, optimizing functionality and aesthetics
• Integrate translated materials into module templates (text, subtitle, voice over files)
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

• Demonstrated competency in Articulate 360 products/Storyline
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite/Illustrator/InDesign
• Strong presentation skills
• Highly motivated team player with a flexible attitude
• 1-2 years’ experience with training in a cross-cultural environment (preferred)

Education

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university or Associate’s degree in applicable field and two (2) to four (4) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
