The fundamental mission of UNICEF is to promote the rights of every child, everywhere, in everything the organization does in programs, in advocacy and in operations.

UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential.

Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

And we never give up.

The Private Sector Fundraising (PSFR) section within the Private Fundraising and Partnerships Division (PFP) works with National Committees, UNICEF country offices and UNICEF key divisions to maximize income and drive income growth globally.

Within the PSFR section, there are several units responsible for resource mobilization, such as Corporate Partnerships, Global Philanthropy, and Foundations teams.  These teams work with key UNICEF divisions, National Committees and country offices to grow income from corporate donors, foundations, major donors, faith and membership-based organizations.

In order to maximize partnership potential and promote donor satisfaction, these fundraising teams require support for communication planning and execution including reputational risk mitigation and brand guidance for partners and donors. The Communication for Partnerships (C4P) Unit provides this support to the PSFR fundraising teams on a day-to-day basis. In parallel, the Communication for Partnerships Unit also works directly with National Committees, country offices, regional offices and other key UNICEF divisions such as the Supply Division and Division of Communication to provide engagement and visibility opportunities for multi-country and global partners through events and key moments throughout the year. Additionally, C4P oversees the management and upkeep of the Partnerships section of the global unicef.org website.
