The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in the designated business division (PHP). This position will formulate partnerships across the HR functions to provide resource support, help oversee HR functional areas, and deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

Scope of Work:
Talent Identification and Onboarding:
- Collaborate with divisional leadership to create workforce plans, support the development and update of Job Descriptions, and support in establishing onboarding practices and communications for the program division
- Manage, monitor, and track progress with regards to country Employer of Record (EOR) communication with the EOR Coordinator
- Serve as a point of contact for general HR inquiries, including but not limited to: policies, benefits, and time-off.
- Support the hiring managers in of the identification of business need and consult on the job requisition in partnership with the recruiting team
Administration & Operations:
- Guide divisional leaders on and enforce HR policies, procedures, and core business processes to reduce legal risk and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide guidance on contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers in accordance with procedures
- Support the business with change management and help to influence divisional and program leaders with organizational design
- Collaborate with the global HR team to advise on compensation and payroll-related matters
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and ensure regulatory compliance in countries where we have PHP employees
- Serve as a point of contact with the coordination and processes dedicated for salary benchmarking, benefits and payroll coordination and time-off practices for international hires.
- Assist in the coordination and status related to international onboarding, benchmarking of local salaries/market rates, local benefits and payroll considerations, paid time off practices, etc.
Talent Management:
- Provide performance management guidance to divisional and program leadership (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- In coordination with Director of Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Assist in coaching managers in assigned division on how to engage key talent, including identification of potential retention risks
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs
- Liaise for training programs and learning opportunities to enhance staff development, including Leadership and Management programs
- Help to manage any internship & fellowship programs
- Promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as part of the culture of the organization and ensure it is embedded into all HR practices.
Employee Relations:
- Work closely with divisional and program leadership to improve work relationships, build morale, and encourage a culture of collaboration
- Support in the mentoring and coaching of supervisors to develop their management skills and supporting conflict resolution
- In collaboration with the global HR team, help to oversee employee relations issues and conduct investigations when required
- Developing new initiatives to enhance the employee experience, and monitor staff engagement
HR Initiatives:
- Support the execution of global HR-led initiatives within the division
- Provide guidance on various organizational development and change management, and assist in streamlining core HR processes for best efficiency
- Additional HR projects and requests as needed
Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in all HR functional areas, with a strong emphasis in organizational development/effectiveness and talent management/development
- Strong consult and coaching skills, successfully partnering with business leaders to drive individual, team, and organizational performance
- Ability to build strong, ongoing, impactful relationships at all organizational levels and across a diverse range of cultural, generational, ethnic, racial, educational, and social backgrounds
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to quickly learn and understand the sector, organization, and divisional goals
- Excellent written/oral communication skills, confident, persuasive presentation skills, organizational influence, and conflict resolution skills
- Strategic, systems thinking and complex problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw upon multiple resources in developing and implementing integrated solutions

Professional certification:
- SHRM or HRCI certification a plus
Experience required:
- Experience in a strategic business partner/leadership role

- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
