Remarks:

Individuals engaged under a consultancy or individual contract will not be considered “staff members” under the Staff Regulations and Rules of the United Nations and UNICEF’s policies and procedures, and will not be entitled to benefits provided therein (such as leave entitlements and medical insurance coverage). Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.

 

Important Please Note: For this consultancy we are looking for International Consultants OR National Consultants with demonstrated international experience

 

DURATION OF CONSULTANCY:  9 months from start date of the contract (approx. 85 input days over 9 months)

LOCATION: The consultant can work remotely with scope of travel to New Delhi as and when required and feasible to travel (considering the pandemic protocols) during the duration of the contract.

  1. An updated CV, demonstrating all the requirements stated in the TOR
  2. A Cover letter, which has two parts: (To be uploaded under Cover Letter placeholder)

i) The cover letter should demonstrate expertise / experience in supporting the development of at least 1-2 UNICEF country programme development process.

ii) The cover letter should also include in the same word document in a separate section- A short one pager narrative on the approach proposed to implement the deliverables in the ToR

All 3 documents are required to be submitted mandatorily, if there is any document missing then your application will not be evaluated further

TECHNICAL EVALUATION CRITERIA

  1. SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE OF CONSULTANT RELEVANT TO THE ASSIGNMENT   
  • Minimum 8 years of extensive experience and skills on UNICEF CPD development, Strategic prioritization, ToC development (30)
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting the development of at least 1-2 UNICEF country programme development process (25)  
  • A short one pager narrative on the approach proposed to implement the deliverables in the ToR (15)
  • Candidates securing at least 56/70 in above criteria will be called for the technical interview.
  • Technical interview (10) with at least 8/10 to be secured to qualify for the interview

 

The candidates securing at least 64/80 would be considered technically qualified

  • 20 points is allocated to the lowest priced proposal. The financial scores of the other proposals will be in inverse proportion to the lowest price.
