Program Officer (Food Safety Advisor) – FL-0343-03, Center For Nutrition

The incumbent will advise on emerging food safety and multisectoral nutrition priorities aligned with the U.S. Government’s Global Food Security Strategy and USAID’s Multisectoral Nutrition Strategy. The incumbent will keep up to date on current research and best practices and will integrate food safety best practices through Mission support, design of resources and tools, and strategic programming. The incumbent will serve on RFS Country Support Teams, promoting cross-sectoral linkages and integration of cross-cutting issues through a food safety and nutrition lens.
