The Enterprise Sales Development Team serves global organizations, including leading companies, governments, and nonprofits, who seek to upskill or retrain their workforce with the world’s best education. As part of Coursera’s team, you will play a key role in increasing global access to a world-class education. You will lead a team of 6-8 Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). The SDR team is focused on identifying opportunities. The role also requires working across the organization (with business development, product, university partnerships, and legal) in service of Coursera’s growth and long-term success.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead in hiring, training, developing, motivating, and coaching our sales development team and maintain SDR best practices, pitches, and objection handling
- Achieve and consistently exceed daily KPIs, monthly and quarterly SDR team goals
- Accurately forecast and report on metrics for the sales development pipeline and proactively flag risk and correct deficiencies
- Work as a strategic partner and effectively communicate insight and improvements to the marketing and sales organization to optimize the sales funnel and help to develop demand generation campaigns/content
- Collaborate with management to measure and inspect innovative sales programs and initiatives
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 3+ years of sales development leadership experience in a SaaS environment
- Demonstrated history building, coaching, inspiring, managing, growing and developing an inside sales team while exceeding all targets
- Experience with Salesforce
Preferred Qualifications:
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and creative-problem solving abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, organizational, and operational skills
- Strong cross functional collaboration experience – able to work with different functions effectively and for overall benefit to the business while understanding, and empathize with others
- Demonstrated knowledge of different sales tools and customer relationship management (CRM) systems: SalesForce knowledge is a must with a strong ability to build and analyse reports in Salesforce and provide accurate reporting metrics
- Entrepreneurial drive and comfort working as part of a team in ambiguous, quickly-changing environments
- Business fluency in Spanish
