Purpose of Activity/Assignment:
The overall objective of this Individual Contractor is to support the monitoring and evaluation of covid-19 vaccines delivery focusing at all levels of the health system and to monitor Routine Immunization (RI) data collection and reporting, and supportive supervision for maintaining good coverage of RI and minimize Cvd19 impact on children lives. The two Contractors will work closely with the senior analyst under RBC/MCCH/VPU supervision.
Scope of Work/ Tasks and Responsibilities
- Monitor Covid-19 vaccination sites, outreach to hard-to-reach and high-risk populations, mobile sites to ensure equitable access to vaccination
- Monitor implementation of Covid-19 vaccination at all levels of the system
- Assess the integration of Covid-19 vaccines and other existing immunization activities
- Monitor and supervise vaccines delivery, storage quality and capacity and report to the vaccination unity;
- Supportive supervision for strengthening overall vaccination data management, registries, and timely reporting.
- Monitor the implementation and integration of Covid-19 vaccines in the eVLMIS
- Identify gaps and challenges faced by vaccinators for improved vaccination planning
- Any other tasks related to Covid-19 vaccination and routine vaccination monitoring
- The individual contractor will Produce progress report against scope of work including data, recommendations/ action plans on a monthly basis
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in public health, statistics or other related field
Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in immunization, health emergency and experience in Covid-19 response is desired.
- Good communication/writing skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and knowledge of Kinyarwanda is required, French would be an advantage.

Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
