In a pioneering international initiative, Cornell University and Weill Cornell Medical College established Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar (WCM-Q) in 2001 through a unique partnership with the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. WCM-Q seeks candidates for a postdoctoral associate position in:

Multi-omics of cardiovascular disease

Abi Khalil lab invites applications for a postdoctoral position in multi-omics of cardiovascular disease. The candidate will analyze DNA methylation, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and miRNAs data issued from human and cell culture samples of several cardiovascular pathologies.

Must Have
• Ph.D. degree in Genetics, Bioinformatics, or Molecular and Cellular Biology
• Prior experience in omics analysis
• Prior in-depth experience in bioinformatic analysis

Essential skills
• Highly motivated
• Fluent in English
• Able to work independently

WCMC-Q is located in Education City, among other American universities, in Doha, Qatar, which is a rapidly growing research hub. The WCMC-Q research program offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment, endowed with a comprehensive support infrastructure. WCM-Q postdoctoral associates are appointed by the academic departments at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York.

The stipend offered is commensurate with experience. Fully furnished housing and transportation allowance are also provided, if eligible.
