Background information:

BRAC’s Programme Development, Resource Mobilization and Learning (PRL) unit supports coordination between BRAC Affiliates, BRAC Bangladesh, BRAC International, and Country Offices to strategize and diversify the organization’s fundraising approaches, designing high quality programmes, improving timeliness of project/programme proposals development and submissions, as well as performance and reporting. The unit supports BRAC’s journey towards becoming a knowledge partner of choice in the humanitarian and development industries. BRAC’s projects are wide ranging in the expertise and knowledge they require; therefore, we are inviting suitably qualified, experienced consultants to submit their CVs, two referees and a career summary outlining their areas of expertise and their experience with consultancy services, for consideration.

BRAC runs a network of Microfinance and multi-sector social development programmes including Health, Nutrition, WASH, Education, empowerment and Livelihood for Adolescents, Early Childhood Development, Agriculture, Food Security and Livelihoods, Targeting the Ultra-poor, and Emergency Preparedness and Response. Our range of targeted multi-sector programmes demands a multi-expertise team of consultants who can support our programme development activities.

  • The ability to manage information and deliver accurate and concise reports in a timely manner
  • Experience in project design, implementation, monitoring and reporting
  • Regional experience and familiarity with the operational procedures of regional and international development agencies
  • Expertise in writing proposals, academic research, high level reports, strategy documentsRequired Skills and Experience

  • At least a Master’s degree in Social Sciences or relevant field

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience

  • Have participatory and interactive skills
