Account Executive - Universities (North India)

Product Designer, Enterprise Core (CB4 & Integrations)

Coursera was launched in 2012 by two Stanford Computer Science professors, Andrew Ng and Daphne Koller, with a mission to provide universal access to world-class learning. It is now one of the largest online learning platforms in the world, with 92 million registered learners as of Sept. 30, 2021. Coursera partners with over 250 leading university and industry partners to offer a broad catalog of content and credentials, including Guided Projects, courses, Specializations, certificates, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Institutions around the world use Coursera to upskill and reskill their employees, citizens, and students in many high-demand fields, including data science, technology, and business. Coursera became a B Corp in February 2021.
The Design & Research teams play a vital role in Coursera’s success. These teams are responsible for gathering learner & partner insights and translating them into recommendations that help Coursera achieve a seamless experience across its platform. These teams are divided down into three main areas: Growth & Discovery, Learner & Educator Experience, & Enterprise.
We are looking for a Product Designer for our Enterprise team to lead design for the evolving needs of our business customers, and be an active member of the design org, evangelizing the potential of design thinking and raising the bar for the quality of design.
This role reports to the Director, Product Design for Enterprise and is part of the broader Design and Research org led by the VP, Design & Research reporting into the CPO. This is a full-time remote position within a reasonable time zone difference from our headquarters in Mountain View, CA.
The Enterprise team serves three key business segments today:
Business customers seeking to upskill their existing pool of talent, or train a pipeline of entry level talent
University  customers seeking to supplement their curriculum with in-demand industry skills to prepare students for employment and increase their chances of placement after graduation
Government customers seeking to leverage Coursera’s Gateway Certifications to reskill displaced blue collar workers in their region for rapidly emerging entry level tech roles, that drive economic mobility and a thriving economy in their city or state. And increasingly the enterprise team is working at the intersections of these segments to close the skills gap and bridge learning and earning across Coursera’s powerful ecosystem.
The experience of learning and transformation is inherently challenging. Your work as a designer will be to create simplicity from complexity and influence everything from the most micro-interaction to full-enterprise learning programs with thousands of employee learners. Our goal is to make education accessible to all and we need extraordinary designers to realize this.
