UNDP Vietnam is seeking for 01 qualified Vietnamese firm/institute/organization for Piloting the establishment of women’s leadership networks at provincial level

The objectives of this assignment:
Over the past years, Vietnam has made remarkable progress on gender equality with impressive achievements in resolving gender disparities in education, employment, and health. Vietnam also passed a number of important laws and policies on gender equality.
Since early 2000s, UNDP has been continuously supporting the Vietnam government to fulfil their commitments toward the promotion of women representation in politics and public offices as well as the women, peace, and security agenda Realizing that greater gender equality in politics and public decision making is both a manifestation of the extent of the progress women have made in society as well as one of the most effective ways to guarantee continued progress, UNDP continues to work with various government agencies to promote women representation in political institutions and women, peace and security agenda. The project: “Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment project (GEWE)” has been designed to support national efforts to accelerate gender equality with a focus on promoting women’s political leadership and participation in sustaining peace and addressing emerging challenges.
The key objective of this assignment is to create a nurturing environment for peer-learning, capacity building, mentorship among women leaders, promoting and encouraging more women in leadership roles by, especially in the digital era, establishing networks of women leaders at provincial level, thus contributing to women leaders’ successful adaptation in the international integration process.
