Coursera is looking for a Manager for a Technology & Operations team to assist in the day-to-day operations of a Content and Credentials Team. Content & Credentials is responsible for bringing on new partners and new content to the Coursera platform. As a Manager, Technology & Operations, you will lead a team of Operations Specialists and Data Analysts. You are a hand-on leader who ensures data integrity and reporting accuracy. You’re able to lead multiple operational projects and solve complex problems through improved processes. We are looking for a leader, with strong team-building, and creative instincts, and the ability to navigate the fast-paced ambiguity of a startup environment.
This position will predominantly work in the PST time zone.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Operations specialists and Data Analysts
- Focus on improving processes and solving team’s pain points
- Align a broad set of cross-functional teams (Finance, Product, Design, Marketing, Engineering, Business, Legal, etc.) to ensure improved efficiency and quicker / consistent content launches and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute key internal initiatives
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years experience working in an operations role
- 3+ years people management experience
- 3+ years of Salesforce experience focused on dashboards, reporting and collecting requirements to improve the flow of Salesforce
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional communication: Ability to quickly distill complicated topics into clear, concise narratives and artifacts (e.g. documents, presentations) that facilitate discussion and alignment across internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical mindset: Ability to solve problems, independently introducing clarity, and solutions
- Superb project management: Ability to organize, manage, and deliver on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment; strong work ethic and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever needs to be done.
- Confidence navigating ambiguity: Ability to navigate competing demands in a fast-paced environment, aligning with stakeholders on priorities, objectives, and timelines in an organized manner
- Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, identify pain points and propose solutions
