Purpose of Activity/Assignment:
To support UNICEF, Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Adjara (MoECS) and Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (BSU) in planning and organizing International ECE conference in June 2022
Scope of Work:
The consultancy envisions work in four main areas: (1) supporting MoECS in defining and planning the conference contents; (2) supporting the work of the scientific committee and ensuring effective coordination between the key stakeholders (MoECS, UNICEF, BSU, scientific committee), (3) leading active communication with potential national and international presenters; (4) supporting quality of conference sessions through proper organization/enhancement of conference contents.

Duration: 17.01.2022- 17.06.2022 (30 working days).
Location: Home based. Travel to Batumi twice (3 days for preparatory trip in May and the actual conference dates in June).
Minimum Qualifications required:
Education: Master’s degree in Education, Child Development and Psychology
Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required:
-At least 3 years’ experience of working in early childhood education
-Experience in organizing/supporting or leading educational -conferences or fairs
-Experience in developing academic publications
-In-depth knowledge of ECEC field
-Excellent knowledge of English and Georgian
