Program Officer (Strategic Communications Specialist) – FL-0343-04

The Strategic Communications Specialist will work with the RFS Communications and Outreach team to support creation and implementation of strategic communications and outreach plans that support the Feed the Future and Water for the World initiative goals. S/he will advise the Communications Director and senior staff on strategic communications strategies and develop creative ideas for storytelling and outreach that advance bureau and initiative goals. S/he will work closely with other members of the Communications and Outreach Team and across the bureau, Agency, interagency and partner organizations and public. Under the supervision of the RFS Communications Director, the incumbent will play a lead role in managing other short- and long-term projects, as assigned.
