The Social Business Unit is the business arm of PSI that focuses on balancing commercial viability and social impact to deliver consumer-powered healthcare at scale through social enterprise entities in markets around the globe – including India, Southern Africa, Angola, Cambodia, Myanmar, Uganda, Kenya, Paraguay, and Central America. The SBU vision is to design consumer-centric social enterprises that use a combination of digital and offline healthcare solutions to support consumers’ self-care journey, and give them choice, voice and agency in their health and well-being.
PSI seeks an Advisor, Digital Health that will accelerate and scale the global digital strategy for the social business unit, and manage various aspects of its roll out in close collaboration with country offices and other departments. This role will oversee and contribute to activities related to digital product development, digital marketing, data management, communications and will provide support to global brand offerings and SBU markets launching their digital engagement activities.
Responsibilities
Your contributions
·Design digital strategies and guide digital marketing efforts. Design strategies that strengthen and systematize consumer engagement at the global and local level, primarily for global brands and as needed for country-level offerings. Advise countries in developing and rolling out digital gameplans for global brands and other local brands as needed, and provide ongoing implementation guidance and support. Ensure strategies and gameplans follow digital and social media best practices. Work with internal teams to identify emerging trends, technologies and innovations in the digital space and use insights to regularly optimize the plans. Propose and roll out metrics, and advise countries in the development of demand generation and brand positioning campaigns, including annual digital media plans to support achievement of business objectives. 30% of Time
·Guide digital technology development. Work with external and internal partners to coordinate and guide the development of digital tools or offerings including but not limited to AI powered chatbot, E commerce, and telemedicine solutions. Understand and guide user experience mapping and optimization. Coordinate work streams with internal and external cross functional teams. Contribute to the development of internal resources and standards to guide the use of digital technology. 20% of Time
·Support the development of digital content and communications. Support the set-up of content and community platforms. Advise on strategy and roll out of social media and content campaigns. Advise local teams on content development in partnership with digital teams and/or digital agencies. Manage knowledge sharing and contribute to regular internal and external communications. 20% of Time
·Support digital data analysis and utilization. Work closely with internal marketing and digital teams to establish M&E data needs. Provide frameworks and processes for regular data analysis and utilization. Advocate for the development and use of digital technologies to automate internal business processes in order to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and provide flexibility and agility. Contribute to identifying and assessing future digital revenue streams. 10% of Time
·Support global and local capacity building and knowledge sharing. Clarify and communicate digital standards and processes for development and use of digital tools and channels. Provide support and guidance to country level digital teams and contribute to cross market learning activities. Promote dissemination of learning materials and development of relevant technical briefs and presentations for internal or external meetings. 10% of Time
·Support business development and fundraising efforts. Contribute to digital technical narrative and budget development for new business proposals. Help identify and assess future digital revenue streams. 5% of Time
·Foster strategic partnerships (identifying, onboarding and relationship management) for specific SBU digital health solutions. 5% of Time

What are we looking for?
·Bachelor’s Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field
·Master’s Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field preferred
·At least 7 years of related experience. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted.
·In-depth knowledge of social media marketing best practices and trends, digital platforms, digital health market trends and innovations.
·In-depth knowledge of software development processes and lifecycles.
·Excellent organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail. Able to balance multiple projects, wear multiple hats, and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced and at times ambiguous environment.
·Excellent collaboration, customer service, relationship building/management and consensus building skills. Able to respond calmly and confidently in any situation.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to think creatively and approach tasks or problems in a new or different way. Able to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
·Proficient in written and spoken English required. Proficiency in local languages preferred (e.g., French, Spanish and/or Portuguese).
·Excellent networking and facilitation skills. Able to communicate and translate complex concepts to a variety of audiences and expertise levels.
·Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Office 365.
·Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
