Surge Support Project Manager – Myanmar

Expériences / Formation

Due to COVID-19 restrictions in Myanmar, applicants must have a valid visa (minimum duration of 3 months) for work and must be currently based in the country.

  •  University-Level Degree, preferably a Master Degree in the field of International Development, Project Management, Political Studies or other related ones
  • Former experience of working on Humanitarian Crisis / Emergency Response
  • Good knowledge of M&E Tools, Grants Reporting and Proposal Development
  • Familiar with procedures of some of the following donor agencies: AAP, AFD, MHF, DFID, ECHO/Europaid, others
  • Proven experience on Capacity Building for National/Local CSOs, including good Training Facilitation and strong Reporting skills
  • Fluent in written English and French. Knowledge of Myanmar language will be appreciated
  • Former experience in Myanmar or in South/South East Asia is a very strong asset
  • Proficient user of MS Office Pack. Knowledge on data processing and/or GIS software is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as a team member, in an effective timely and flexible way, under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Proven record of self-sufficient and rigorous capacity and excellent multi-tasks and priority planning
  • Great sense of humour and excellent ability to work and live in both Myanmar and International environments

Salaire

Country:  Myanmar – Location: based in Yangon, with possibly a few trips to Chin State and other regions (in case of new program areas development)

Duration:  3 months, starting on 01 November 2020

Ideally, the selected candidate would be offered the position of leading TGH Paletwa Response Projects for a period of one year (all 2021), position based in TGH Yangon Coordination Office.

Total gross monthly salary from €1’900 to €2’600 depending on experience, monthly per diem 450 EUR, medical coverage of 100% + repatriation insurance + provident fund, accommodation, international and local transportation as part of the mission, break every 3 months.

No family duty station.
