Life Skills Facilitator

Job Purpose:

To facilitate workshops on PSS and topics that are related to life skills that will help build the
beneficiaries skills, abilities and educational levels.

Key Activities/Tasks/Duties:

• Plan, prepare and deliver workshops for the beneficiaries.
• Effectively plan, prepare, develop and implement life skills tools and resources to demonstrate progress and growth in beneficiaries learning and development goals.
• Build trusting relationships with beneficiaries.
• Conduct pre- and post-assessment sessions to gauge the beneficiaries’ progress towards their learning and development goals.
• Engage beneficiaries in the learning environment following a series of workshops and topics that advance their life skills, education, healthy lifestyles, cultural awareness.
• Ensure the activities and workshops are following safe learning practices at all times.
• Coordinate with other departments to develop, schedule, implement and evaluate the workshops.
• Adhere to all budgetary constraints, ensuring that the program stays within budget
• Ensure that all assessments, follow-ups and weekly and progress reports are completed in a timely manner
• Maintain quality up-to date documentation on all interactions with beneficiaries and their parents
• Ensure that all data collected is entered and reported in a timely manner (monthly)
• Attend administrative meetings and contribute to the overall organization’s goals
• Support the direct manager and case workers in the capacity of curriculum writing/changing, lesson plans, assessments, reviews and objectives.
• Follow-up with beneficiaries after completing the workshop to ensure they are practicing the necessary skills and improving.
• Communicate with parents after the workshops, update and counsel them on certain behaviors how to deal with beneficiaries.

Required Qualifications (Education/Languages/Work Experience):

ِِِA. Essential:
 Bachelor Degree in Education, Psychology, or any other relevant field.
 Intermediate skills in the Arabic language.
 Minimum of 1 year of proven teaching experience in a similar position.
B. Desirable
 Intermediate skills in the English language.
 Intermediate skills in the Turkish language.0
 Verified experience in humanitarian work and principles.
