QUALIFICATION SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
Experience / Competencies
- University degree in related sector (programme management, development, humanitarian studies…)
- Minimum 2 years with INGO specialized in Humanitarian assistance with experience in donor reporting and accountability mechanisms
- 1 year of experience managing a humanitarian MEAL system including supervising household surveys.
- Experience designing, planning, implementing, analysing and writing reports for household surveys
- Experience using some of the following: DHIS, SPSS, STATA, EPI-INFO, R, NVivo and/or SMART –ENA software is a plus
- Full English written and spoken proficiency is mandatory
- knowledge of Bengali, Burmese, Rohyinga is an asset
- Demonstrable research design competency (quantitative and qualitative)
- Advanced Excel competency required
- Project Cycle Management skills
Soft skills
- Strong autonomy and initiative
- Good inter-personal, coaching and training skills
- Leadership skills. Consultative management style. Accountable decision maker
- Problem solving ability, excellent communicator, team player, good numerical and report writing skills.
Salaire
- Status: 6-months fixed contract (CDD d’usage expatrié)
- Beginning: ASAP
- Location: based in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh
- Salary and benefits: daily allowance (per diem), salary based on experience and BSF salary scale, insurance, lodging in Guest House, unaccompanied post
