INTRAC wishes to recruit new Trustees to join its Board. Our mission is to strengthen and support the capacity, engagement, and effectiveness of civil society, especially in the global south – in order to change societies for the better. INTRAC has a long track record in achieving this though partnership and support. We are seeking individuals who share our aims, and who have the skills and desire to help INTRAC to adapt and respond effectively to emerging sector challenges.

INTRAC aims to maintain on its Board a complementary mix of skills, experience and networks. As well as Trustees with backgrounds in international civil society, inclusive development and social transformation, INTRAC’s Board includes members who have specific skills and experience in the organisational governance, finances, and programme delivery in complex environments abroad.

To complement this we are particularly seeking trustees with skills and experience in technology, corporate financing and business model development or commercial consultancy operations. In addition, we are also looking for someone working at the frontiers of evidence and impact. We are also looking to recruit trustees who are located outside the UK, from the Global South. This will help us increase the relevance and effectiveness of our business model and strategy for civil society in the south. Unfortunately, we are unable to pay travel for trustees based outside the UK so they will join virtually as part of virtual or hybrid meetings.
