Cufa is seeking a Myanmar National for Monitoring and Evaluation Officers for a 4.5 year project to be based in EITHER Ayeyarwady Region, Chin State, Sagaing State (North), Sagaing State (South) OR Thanintharyi Region.
Assigned Tasks:
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will ensure timely and accurate access to, and analysis of information and data regarding project status, achievement of indicators and progress of implementation.
The expert will:
- Provide overall guidance and technical assistance in the conduct of Project M&E based on approved work and financial plans;
- Prepare annual and quarterly M&E work and financial plans;
- Review and analyze consolidated reports and data;
- Assist the team leader in leading the township monthly progress review;
- Train facilitators in understanding and the use of data collection forms;
- Design and conduct training on M&E and MIS;
- Conduct data quality assessments and field visits to validate village tract and village data and reports, and identify potential problems and concerns;
- Troubleshoot quality and accuracy of the township M&E database;
- Coordinate with different village tracts on the consolidation of operational and results based data;
- Monitor resolution of grievances;
- Prepare regular and on demand consolidated reports, feedbacks, and presentation materials;
- Facilitate internal township assessments, village M&E and lessons sharing activities;
- Facilitate staff and village capacity building activities;
Selection Criteria:
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Social Science, Information Technology or relevant subject;
- 3 years of work experience involving the use of databases and spreadsheet based analysis;
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel;
- Good proficiency in database software such as MS Access;
- Preferably having prior experience in M&E and MIS on development projects;
- Experience of preparing and delivering training would be an advantage; and
- Higher degree or advanced diploma in statistics would be an advantage.
