How can you make a difference?
The Programme section, UNICEF Thailand Country Office (TCO) is seeking an individual consultant to support the section to compile, synthesize, report and edit key documents and reports generated in the coming intensive period of Country Programme Development (CPD).
Work Assignment:
• Compiling, synthesizing, reporting and editing in UN language the following as relevant:
– Annual reports 2020 and 2021
– CPD key milestones and events including Common Country Assessment (CCA), Prioritization exercise, Strategic Moment of Reflection, Development of Theory of Change and Programme Strategy Notes, CPD and other key meetings, consultations, trainings and workshop reports
– Donor reports (sectoral response on COVID-19 and others)
• Where applicable and needed, support the development, review and editing of key messages, briefs, social media posts, media materials and content related to COVID-19 in English before publishing
End Product:
Finalized reports and documents as per agreed work assignments.
Official Travel: Home-based assignment with regular communication via email/zoom/skype, and visit UNICEF office for presentation/meeting whenever required.
Estimated Duration of Contract: 15 working days per month within 11.5 months, starting in December 2020.
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
- Advanced university degree (communication, journalism, literature, public relations);
- Minimum of five years professional relevant work experience;
- Proven track record of reporting quality documents and reports;
- Strong technical skills in editing, style correction and consolidation of variety of inputs;
- Familiarity with UNICEF reporting standards will be an asset;
- Familiarity with Thailand and the work of UNICEF Thailand will be an asset;
- Experience working with UNICEF and/or the United Nations system;
- English fluency and strong oral and written communications skills;
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
