Monitoring, evaluation, accountability & learning (MEAL) Assistant (nationals only)

Experience / Training

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Master’s degree) in statistics, social sciences, rural development or another relevant qualification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a MEAL role or relevant experience in the NGO sector
  • Knowledge of social research methodologies and techniques

Skills and competencies:

  • Fluency in English and Arabic (written and verbal)
  • Basic documentation skills, able to draft and critically review project documents
  • Pleasant personality, good communication skills, ability to coordinate with wide range of stakeholders and dealing with people at different levels of organisation
  • Able to travel frequently to project areas
  • Strong computer skills, including with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • High initiative, determined, detail oriented
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrates accountability for outputs and ability to meet deadlines.

Location: Tindouf, Sahrawi Refugee Camps
Contract type: 6 months – 100% (full time) Renewable
This role reports to: Funding & Programme Quality Coordinator
