Job Purpose
To responsible for all aspects of project implementation, including the preparation, planning, organization, coordination and relations with all sectors and international partners as well as the documentation for all the steps to implement the project.
The scope of the work includes close coordination with counterparts and all stakeholders, including the team, partners, local community and representatives of the local council as well as other NGOs.
Key Responsibilities
- Participating in the development, implementation of assigned program projects, monitors and analyses project development and implementation.
- Oversee ongoing cash-based response projects across IhsanRD’s emergency response program to ensure proper intervention of IhsanRD’s cash-based projects and provide external data for cash-based project donors in NW Syria.
- Facilitate internal and external evaluations of the project, using these as opportunities to document achievements, challenges and learning.
- Prepare, update and implement project work plans and review progress monthly with input from partner and all members of team.
- Promote of participatory approaches in the program, community and beneficiaries’ participation.
- Conduct IDPs tracking tables and reports.
- Prepare regular reports on budgets and expenditures in collaboration with Finance department to track spending and take corrective action if necessary.
- Prepare timely narrative donor and internal reports.
- Prepare timely rapid need assessment reports.
- Prepare and write the order forms with the team depending on the need.
- Ensure and supervise the documentation of the project for all stages.
- Participate in MEAL plans in coordination with MEAL department.
- Conduct and or participate in assessments and donor liaison as appropriate.
- Representing Ihsan in a variety of relevant forums and meetings. Also, build relationships with stakeholders.
- Work on any other tasks required by the program coordinator for emergencies.
- Prepare donor updates and reports as needed.
Note: the above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Another future responsibilities/accountability may be assigned to the job depending on the department organizational chart.
Qualification (Education/Work Experience)

Essential:**
-
Institute or bachelor’s degree, preferably in a discipline such as business administration, management and economics or any other discipline relevant to development.

Previous experience in a related position for at least 1 year, including managing emergency and cash projects.

Experience in program monitoring, coordination, and information management.

At least 5 years’ experience in Microsoft office.

Desirable:**
-
Master degree is desirable.
-
Managing UN-funded projects is preferable.
-
Experience in remote management.
-
Demonstrated experience in Project Management and cash-based programming cross borders.

Strong understanding of gender issues and experience in integrating these into program practice.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong data analysis skills and experience.
