Digital Consultancy

Role

Working with the project digital consultant, the postholder will provide training and mentorship to TRF Media Partners in Ukraine on understanding and using analytics data from their websites and social media pages as part of their overall strategies. This will include:

1. Building relationships with TRF’s media partners in Ukraine to gain an understanding of their strategies and goals, and understanding how they currently use their digital platforms
2. Analysing data from Ukrainian media partners’ social media pages and websites from the past year and using this to provide an overview of findings and a set of recommendations
3. Supporting media partners to create tailored digital transformation processes
4. Drawing up suggested digital targets based on the recommendations, and mentoring media partners to meet them
5. Setting up a group learning platform for knowledge-sharing between media partners and TRF

Ideally the consultant will have an understanding and experience of:

• using a wide variety of analytics tools to analyse website and social media performance

• supporting media organisations define digital priorities based on audience research and analytics data

• how analytics can be used to inform editorial decision-making, and to inform short-, medium- and long-term planning

• identifying and communicating risks and issues, and making recommendations upwards to senior management

• mentoring and working with clients through change processes

• knowledge of the Ukrainian digital media landscape and consumption

• Fluency in at least Ukrainian and English, ideally also Russian and Romanian

• Availability to work 7-10 days a month until December
