Know our team

Nutrition International’s Program Operations Unit is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of Nutrition International’s core program interventions including program development, design, planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting, and grant management, including setting annual operational planning, budgeting and review processes. The unit comprises a global team of professionals located in our 10 core countries across Asia, Africa and our headquarters in Ottawa, Canada.

About you

You have a bachelor’s degree in nutrition, public health, international development and/or a related field. You have 7 years of progressive work experience working with NGOs, UN agencies or similar working on public health, food security and/or nutrition related programs with at least 3 years of experience working in developing countries in Asia or Africa. You are an excellent communicator and are able to collaborate across units and geographies to achieve excellent results.

About the role

In this role you will:

  • Support the design and management of our Vitamin A emergency response program.
  • Ensure the program is delivered on time, within budget, within scope, to a quality standard, and in line with Nutrition International’s new Vitamin A strategy.
  • You will be working with headquarters and regional office counterparts and will ensure the timely and smooth start-up of the project (e.g., finalize key program documents, such as the project charter, risk assessment strategy, stakeholder engagement plan, budget, logic model, PMF, etc.

This is a 12-month contract position with a possibility of extension.
