ECODIT seeks applications from Ivorian nationals for long- and short-term positions under the anticipated three-year Improving Land Access for Women (ILAW) Activity. It is expected that this activity will address, strengthen and transform women’s participation in land administration and land tenure processes in Cote d’Ivoire. ECODIT seeks qualified candidates to support a range of activities over the life of the project, per the following requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in International Development, Economics, Public Policy, Natural Resources Management, Women or Gender Studies or other relevant field
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience working on donor funded activities in an international development context; experience supporting USAID projects preferred;
  • Experience working in one or more of the following technical areas:
    • Land Tenure, Governance and Administration
    • Access to Land
    • Biodiversity Conservation
    • Forestry and Protected Area Management
    • Customary Land Management
    • Community and Civil Society Engagement
    • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Alternative/Sustainable Livelihoods
    • Private Sector Engagement/Green Enterprises
    • Gender and Social Inclusion
    • Legal, Policy and Regulatory Affairs
    • Communications, and Outreach
    • Information and Knowledge Management
    • Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL)
    • Project Management
    • Grants, Procurement and Contract Management
    • Finance, Administration and Human Resources
    • Operations and Logistics
  • Strong project management skills, along with highly developed interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English; and
  • Written and verbal fluency in French; additional language capability preferred.
