The successful Consultant will directly report to the Deputy Chief of Party of the Law and Human Rights Unit of The Asia Foundation. S/he will mainly be responsible with providing technical communications support to the coalitions during the implementation of the Social Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) Campaigns, and to coordinate between and among The Asia Foundation, its partners, and the human rights coalition. The specific day-to-day tasks of the Communications Strategist Consultant include but are not limited to the development of coalition-wide Communications Policy, strategic communications development, transfer of technological knowledge and skills through capacity-building sessions, monitoring and evaluation, and coordination.

Qualifications: The Communications Strategist must have at least 5 to 10 years of experience in strategic communications development, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation; preferably in a non-government organization in the digital or online spaces. S/he must have excellent reading, writing and communication skills in English and Tagalog. S/he should be also capable in overseeing and managing coordination among internal and external shareholders of the unit. Lastly, s/he should also possess adequate knowledge in Social Behavior Change and its ethics.
