This key position is responsible for providing financial management support for the project, including budget development and monitoring, producing donor reports and reconciliation of project and their close out. Ensure project is implemented in compliance with donor and BRAC regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare financial statements and donor reports of Girls Education Challenge Transition (GEC-T) project;

· Coordinate the entries in the accounting software “SBIcloud”

· Prepare forecast, budget and budget vs actual statement for the projects

· Extend support to the external and internal auditors

· Day to day correspondence with the field accountants and resolving the issues

· Coordinate with programme staff as appropriate to ensure that financial information are complete and accurate , provide regular financial analyses to Project Managers

· In coordination with programme staff, participate to field visits to review the financial management of the project, train field staff as required

· Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

· Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

· Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

· Any other related assignment

Educational Requirements:

M.Com in Accounting/MBA in Accounting/Finance from a reputed University with CA-Intermediate or partly ACCA qualification

Required Competencies:

· Outgoing, confident, persuasive communicator. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing to management and other stake holders;

· Fluent in English speaking and good in report writing, good knowledge on NGO financial environment

· Able to work in stressful conditions to undertake multitasking responsibilities

· Excellent time-management and problem solving skills, sound in financial decision making

· Expert in MS office, especially in excel, PowerPoint and MS word

· Have proven track record of maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
