RTI International is seeking a qualified Project Manager for the International Development Group’s (IDG’s) Global Health Division (GHD). GHD currently has a staff of over 400 and works in over 25 countries. GHD implements broad-based programs in infectious diseases –specifically NTDs, HIV, and Malaria; Integrated Health; and Health Systems Strengthening. The Project Manager will be based within the Implementation team of the five-year Act to End Neglected Tropical Diseases | East (Act | East) project (through 2023).

The position will be based in either Washington D.C. or Research Triangle Park, NC, report to an Act | East Senior Project Manager, and require international travel. Education and Experience:

· Master’s Degree in public health or other relevant discipline and a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience implementing program activities for donor-funded programs (with an emphasis on infectious disease and/or NTD programming). (Bachelor’s degree accepted with at least 8 years of above experience).

· At least 3 years’ experience supporting the country-level implementation of infectious disease or development projects, with a preference for NTD experience.

· Experience working with USAID-funded projects with strength in program management: planning, implementation, and monitoring.

· Understanding and appreciation of country-led health or development strategies.

· Demonstrated knowledge of reporting procedures, best practices, WHO guidelines, and NTD tools for M&E.
