How can you make a difference?
Child Protection Officer – child protection case management information system, planning and advocacy, will provide professional technical support for the child protection case management information system (focusing on Primero and CPIMS dashboard), provincial planning, evidence generation and policy advocacy in child protection while learning organizational rules, regulations and procedures to support the development, implementation and monitoring of the Child Protection output results of the Country Programme.
The Child Protection Officer – child protection case management information system, planning and advocacy, reports to the Child Protection Specialist/ P3 for supervision.
Summary of key functions/accountabilities:
- Technical support to MoSVY and MoI to roll out child protection case management information system, focusing on Primero digital case management system and CP-IMS dashboard
- Evidence generation for the national child protection programme and utilization of the evidence for advocacy and policy reforms
- Technical support to MoSVY and MoI to expand child protection provincial planning and coordination process
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
Education:
- A university degree in one of the following fields is required: international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law, or another relevant social science field.
Experience:
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in social development planning, child protection information management in child protection and advocacy related areas is required.
- Experience working Primero case management system or other system of managing data through technology is an asset.
- Relevant experience in programme development in child protection related areas in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
Language requirements: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language or local language of the duty station is considered as an asset.
